Los exiliados somos como los lobos, adonde vamos no unimos a jaurías que no son las nuestras, pero participamos, cazamos juntos, y sin embargo la luna nos invita a alejarnos para aullar de soledad.

Hacemos amigos, creamos universos emocionales para adornar la memoria inmediata a la hora ineludible de contarnos la jornada. Así, le dije al viejo, una vez, cuendo empezó mi exilio, subí a un taxi en el aeropuerto de Buenos Aires, pregunté al taxista cuánto costaba la carrera hasta el centro y el hombre me pidió que fuera más preciso. Hasta el Obelisco, le dije, y contestó que costaba unos veinte dólares. Yo no tenía más que diez, un billete mugroso y arrugado era toda mi fortuna. Aceptó llevarme por ese precio, y cuando estábamos junto a la imponente vertical del Obelisco, le entregué el dinero. El taxista echó mano a una caja de habanos, tomó un puñado de billetes y me los pasó al tiempo que decía: «Cuídate, hermano». Ese taxista es mi amigo, no sé su nombre y es mi hermano. Adonde quiera que vaya cito su nobleza.

Disculpa, una vez más,
este pre-texto absurdo y temeroso
de nombrar... de reclamarte
al otro lado invisible del mensaje.

Discúlpame esta ilusión digital
de creerte análoga a mis quehaceres,
esta imprudencia textual que
súbitamente te irrumpió la tarde.

Ah, no puedo creer que aún te envíe
estas palomas con mis dedos;
solo deseo sentir cómo me reenvía su vuelo
una esperanza a esta bandeja de heridas.

Yo lo sé. Son pre-textos, nada más,
fingiendo augurar coloquios imposibles
con esta pequeña ventana
cultivada en mi mano enviando semillas,
con estos números que podrían transfigurar todo,
la distancia en letras,
onomatopeyas en infinidades.

¡Qué inocente esperar que los tuyos
son pre-textos para verme!
y las teclas que alborozas son
mis brazos vencidos de esperarte.
